Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is an American performer and actress. Parents include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Her family was birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. She is born in Polish heritage (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent in entertainment from a young stage of her life. In 1992, Kristen went to her very first audition. She got an appearance on Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent when she was thirteen, and she was subsequently cast in newspaper advertisements and television commercials. Then she began taking classes in acting. Bell appeared as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell took part in the drama and music club at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the starring Dorothy role. Bell went to the Tisch School of the Arts where she studied Musical Theater at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. Bell quit university in 2001 to take on the role Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she made her first credit debut as Becky in Pootie Tang. The film was cut, however, her scene was cut out of the movie and she was not even in the credits. Bell appeared on Broadway on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival with Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
